Amichai Tzvi Barer

Amichai Tzvi “Uhhmee” Barer is a Canadian professional poker player from Vancouver. He has accumulated earnings exceeding $4M from live tournaments, with his highest live cash totaling $1,399,739. During his poker career, he won the Aussie Millions Poker Championship in February 2014 and earned one WSOP bracelet at the WSOP Online on GGPoker in August 2022.

Barer’s first recorded live cash took place in April 2009. During that event, he finished 25th in a £10,000 + 600 No Limit Hold’em tournament at the European Poker Tour in Monte Carlo, earning $59,168.

In December 2013, he participated in a €1,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em – EUREKA Main Event at the EPT in Prague. Barer placed 2nd and earned $180,064.

Moreover, in February 2024, he won his biggest live cash of $1,399,739 at the Aussie Millions Poker Championship in Melbourne. He took part in a A$10,600 No Limit Hold’em and finished in 1st place.

Following his poker career, he participated in a €10,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em #31 at the EPT Barcelona in August 2014. He placed 4th and took home $366,604.

Later in November of that year, Barer continued his success at the APPT in Macau, finishing 4th in HK$100,000 No Limit Hold’em and adding $261,116 to his winnings.

At the EPT in Barcelona in August 2015, he cashed for $233,319. Barer participated in a €10,000 + 300 No Limit Hold’em and finished 6th.

On April 14th, 2020, at the Poker Masters Online, Barer placed 3rd in a $10,000 + 300 Pot Limit Omaha – 6 Max Poker Masters #6, pocketing $116,400.

Shortly after, on April 17th, 2020, he participated in a $10,000 + 300 Pot Limit Omaha – 6 Max Poker Masters #12 at the same Poker Masters event. He finished 2nd and earned $169,650.

In addition, he emerged victory at the WSOP Online by GGPoker on August 22nd, 2022. Barer took part in a $525 Pot Limit Omaha – Bounty (Online Bracelet Event #9) and won $23,711.
