Allan Stonum first recorded live cash occurred in February 1991 at the Amarillo Slim’s Superbowl Of Poker in Laughlin. He finished in 5th place in a $1,500 + 60 Limit Hold’em, cashing $3,548.

In April 1993, Allan played in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em at the 24th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 3rd place and earned $40,350.

During the Legends of Poker in Los Angeles in August 1995, he finished in 1st place. Allan took part in a $1,000 + 50 Limit Hold’em and won $50,800.
