For Alexane, poker was something her family was into. Her brother, who was already a professional player, got her interested in it in 2020. Her brother asked her if she wanted to try playing a type of poker called Expresso, even though she had never played cards before. She trusted him, so she started playing with the €100 he gave her in September 2020, and she has kept playing ever since.

Even though Alexane had been planning to work in a different field, she had already finished her first Master’s degree in clinical psychology by 2018. Alexane also studied psychology of war at King’s College London.
