Alexander Kuzmin’s first recorded live cash occurred in October 2002 during the Moscow Open. He finished in 5th place in a $300 Pot Limit Hold’em, cashing $3,268.

In October 2006, Alexander played in a $2,000 + 75 No Limit Hold’em during the Russian Poker Championships in Moscow. He finished in 1st place and won $56,890.
