Alex Nguyen

Alex Nguyen is an American poker player from Coral Springs, Florida, with over $515K in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $123,937 came when he finished in 4th place at the World Series of Poker Circuit in January 2023. Nguyen clinched his first WSOPC ring at the WSOPC West Palm Beach in February 2015.

Alex Nguyen’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 2002, he entered a $105 Omaha event at the Superbowl of Omaha in San Francisco, securing 3rd place and taking home $1,300.

Thirteen years later, in January 2015, he competed in the $1,200 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the Isle Classic in Pompano Beach, where he achieved 6th place and collected $21,250.

Additionally, he competed in the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event (Event #13) at the Isle Open Poker Tournament in Pompano Beach in October 2016, where he placed 5th and received $31,770.

Following this, in February 2017, Nguyen participated in the $365 No Limit Hold’em #2A at the WSOPC in West Palm Beach, finishing 3rd and winning $28,068.

In October 2021, he took part in the $2,200 No Limit Hold’em – Mystery Bounty at The Wynn Fall Classic in Las Vegas, ranking 13th and cashing $30,953.

Years after, in January 2023, Nguyen entered the $1,700 No Limit Hold’em – Championship (Event 9) at the WSOPC Dallas/Oklahoma in Durant, achieving 4th place and earning $123,937.

In a recent appearance in August 2024, when he played in the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event (Event #25) at the Champions Club Summer Poker Open in Houston, finishing 60th and taking home $3,820.
