Aleksejs Meless entered his first recorded live tournament in June 2013 at the Deep Stack Extravaganza III in Las Vegas. He competed in a $500 No Limit Hold’em event and took home $1,296.

On July 5th,  2013, Meless participated in the 44th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Engaging in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event, he earned his biggest live cash amounting to  $21,748.
