Alec Torelli

Alec Torelli is a high-stakes cash game and tournament poker specialist from Orange County, California. Torelli is also known by the nickname Traheho. He’s been on the poker scene since 2006 and is a veteran of the game.

Alec played poker for the first time during a home game in 2004. Just two years later, he achieved his first live tournament cash of $39,730 during a $5,000 UltimateBet Aruba Poker Classic Event. Another two years later and Alec had his first WSOP cash in the 2008 39th World Series Of Poker. He finished 2nd in the $10,000 World Championship Heads-Up No-Limit Event and cashed $336,896, narrowly missing out on a bracelet. He had several six-figure tournament cashes subsequent to that and his biggest came recently in 2023 at the 54th WSOP. Alec finished 11th in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Championship and cashed a whopping $700,000. This brought his overall tournament earnings up to $2.2 million.

In addition to his poker career, Alec Torelli is known for his educational contributions to the poker community. He co-founded a poker training site called Conscious Poker, which offers educational materials and coaching to help players enhance their game.
