Agop Boghossian’s first recorded live cash occurred in February 2002 during the L.A Poker Classic. He finished in 23rd place in a $1,500 + 70 Limit Hold’em, cashing $9,234.

He returned to the L.A Poker Classic to compete in a $300 + 30 Limit Hold’em in February 2003. Agop finished in 1st place and won his biggest live cash of $160,060.

During the Larry Flynt’s Poker Challenge Cup in Gardena in March 2003, he finished in 3rd place. Agop took part in a $2,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em and earned $21,960.

Later in May of that year, he participated in a $500 + 40 No Limit Hold’em at the Mini Series of Poker in Los Angeles. Agop clinched victory and $23,450 added to his winnings.
