Adam Weinraub, a native of Orange, California, in the United States, is a versatile individual who excels as a poker player, businessman and a film producer. He gained recognition for his involvement in the film production of “7 Days to Vegas.” In addition, he is also the CEO of Pro-Lok, a manufacturing company of tools and security related products.
Weinraub, originally from Norfolk, Virginia, started working at a locksmith shop at the age of 10 and later took a job delivering cars within California at 16. He loved California and secured a job as a locksmith there. Moreover, he excelled in this field, opening three retail stores. Weinraub also designed locksmith tools, amassing 17 patents. He eventually sold his stores, leaving the business to his family. With free time on his hands, he became involved in poker, winning a charity seat in the World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational and donating part of his winnings to charity. Nonetheless, he expressed admiration for professional poker players but didn’t plan to join the tournament circuit. However, a chance encounter with Vince Van Patten led to an unexpected opportunity in the film industry.
Weinraub has a current total of $924,483 in live earnings between 2007 and 2023, accumulated over cashing 77 separate live tournaments. His debut took place in March 2007, at the L.A. Poker Classic No Limit Hold’em – Celebrity Invitational Event in Los Angeles. In this game, he made an impressive first-place finish, pocketing a substantial $125,000.
