Ablahad Salim recorded his first live cash in July 1998, he played in a $175 + 10 Limit Hold’em event at the Summer Splash in Temecula, where he finished in 6th place and cashed $1,250.

Years after, in June 2018, Salim entered the $600 No Limit Hold’em – Seniors #60 at the DeepStack Championship Poker Series in Las Vegas. He placed 2nd and took home $75,459.
