Kitty Kuo Faced with Triple Barrel Bluff at Bally Live Poker

Let’s delve into this hand that was played between Kitty Kuo who had recently returned to poker after giving birth to a baby boy, & “Player L” at Bally Live Poker. “Player L” was relentless, firing a triple barrel bluff. The action was live-streamed on Bally Live Poker’s YouTube channel on the 18th of April 2024. The blinds were $50/$100 + $100 big blind ante.

Kitty ($23.8k) got things underway from the button by raising it to $300 with KQ. In the small blind was “Player L” ($17.3k), a player known to be aggressive. He chucked out a 3-bet to $1,200 with A7. After the big blind folded, Kuo made the call, and off to the flop, the pair went with $2.6k in the middle.

The flop came down KJ7 giving Kuo top pair, with a backdoor flush draw too. “Player L” had flopped a pair of sevens. Continuing his pre-flop aggression “L” led into his opponent with a bet off $700. Kitty made a quick call.

Kitty Kuo Turns Two Pair

On the turn Kitty further improved her hand when the Q was revealed. Unwilling to slow down, her opponent fired another bet, this time it was a lot meatier. $2.6k was the amount Kitty was faced with. After the call was made, the pot now stood at $9.2k going to the river.

Knowing his pair of sevens was unlikely to be good after the 9 landed on the river, just as before “Player L” showed no sign of slowing down. Once again he bet out, this time moving “All in” for his remaining $14k. Kitty was faced with a tough spot, however, it was a pretty polarised situation, Why did “L” not fear the board? he was either bluffing or had the nuts. After a lot of Thought, Kitty made the fold, Props to “Player L” for the outrageous Tripple Barrel Bluff.
