, he raised it up to $200. This got Folds, until it was Efan’s ($21,280) turn to act in the cut-off. Feeling gutsy Efan threw in a 3-Bet to $500 withK7. On the Button, Nate ($8,960) had a legitimate hand and decision to make, he opted to play his AQaggressively in position by putting out a 4-Bet to $1,300. The rest of the table folded, Dr.P the limper folded too. The action was now back on Ronnie, no doubt asking the question is there ever a correct way to play Jack’s. He made the call, which led to Efan calling as well. Three players went to the flop with the pot standing tall at $4,030.
All Three players had a Piece of the Flop
The flop was an action packed one 10QKGiving Efan top pair, Nate a pair of queen’s + a gutshot, & Ronnie had a up and down straight draw to go with his pair of Jack’s. First to act Ronnie checked, as did Efan, last to act Nate put out a small bet off just $1,000. Both his opponents made the call, and they went to the turn with $7,030 out there.
The turn was a brick for all, the 3 was enough for all three players to check it back.
The river was the 6a non eventful run out, each player arguably had showdown value given the action, however you would have to feel nobody felt comfortable in the hand. First to act, Ronnie checked as did Efan with his top pair. Nate being the pre flop aggressor and using position to his advantage turned his hand into a bluff by jamming all in. After a lot of thought, Efan was not buying the story his opponent was telling him. He made the call and scooped the $20,350 pot.
