In this hand from The Million Dollar Cash Game on Hustler Casino Live, Hank was hoping to see the nuts on the river, but when he couldn’t hit, he had to improvise. Will Doug fold his pocket Aces?
With the spreads at $500/$1k + $3k BB Ante, the action limped to Hank in the High-Jack with $1.1m. After peeling back A♦️J♦️, he open-raised to $6k. This triggered folds from the Cut-Off and the Button and then the action was at Doug Polk in the Small Blind. With A♠️A♥️ in hand and $1.4m in his stack.
Doug 3-bet to $30k. The BB and the UTG folded, leaving it just Hank with $24k to call. He made the call and they went to the flop heads-up with $65k in the middle.
We saw 4♦️3♣️Q♥️ on the flop, resulting in an overpair for Doug and a potential back-door nut-flush draw for Hank. Doug bet $23k and Hank called, sending them to the turn with the pot at $111k.
Another diamond on the turn brought Hank one step closer to the nut flush. Doug still leading with his pocket Ace’s pulled the trigger with another bet of $81k this time around. Hank called and they went to the river with $273k in the pot.
The 9♥️ on the river changed nothing and Doug’s Aces remained ahead.
Doug made a $200k bet , to which Hank re-raised to all-in for $937k. After tanking for close to five minutes, Doug folded his pocket aces and Hank won the $1.4 million pot on a bluff!
