Doug Polk on Ali Imsirovic and Jake Schindler

Ali Imsirovic and Jake Schindler: On a recent live stream, Doug Polk discussed cheating in poker and how it is not only unethical but also deprives honest players of their livelihoods. He mentioned the banning of Ali Imsirovic and Jake Schindler from all tournaments. He said that this is clear message that cheating will not be tolerated in the poker world, and that players must compete fairly and honestly if they wish to succeed.

Ali Imsirovic, a rising star in the world of poker, has recently been at the center of a scandal that has rocked the industry. He and fellow  player Jack Schindler were accused of using real-time assistance (RTA) during their online poker games. This enabled them to make the right moves at the right time and win seemingly impossible hands. This is the strongest accusation against players to date, and it has sent shockwaves throughout the poker world.

In 2022, PokerGO, the premier online poker platform, suspended both Imsirovic and Schindler from their tournaments. The news was broken by Doug Polk on his popular YouTube channel, where he also announced that the two players had been banned from all poker tournaments. This is a major blow to the careers of both Imsirovic and Schindler, who were previously seen as rising stars in the poker world.

Imsirovic, who is only 28 years old, won 14 high roller tournaments in 2021 and was named PokerGo TOur player of the year. He has amassed an impressive $18 million in live career earnings, according to HendomMob.com. Schindler, who is 32, is one of the most successful tournament players of all time, ranking 12th on HendonMob all-time money list with more than $35 million in live career earnings.

Despite their impressive records, both players were disqualified from the 2022 PGT leaderboard due to the cheating allegations. The poker community was left wondering whether Imsirovic was truly remorseful and had stopped cheating. He seems not to be and was simply boastful about his wins. In a tweet, Daniel Negreanu confirmed the worst suspicions, calling for Imsirovic to be banned indefinitely from all online and live platforms.
