Jboogs & his Slow-played Aces are in a Tricky Spot

Jboogs & His Slow-Played Aces are Put to the Test by Francisco

you have to give it to Francisco for the effort he put in, In trying to get Jboogs to fold here. The hand was played at Hustler Casino Live & was live streamed on Hustler Casino’s YouTube channel. On the 13th February 2024. The hand was played between Jeremy “Jboogs” Levin & Francisco. With the blinds being $25/$50 with every player paying a $25 ante into the pot.

After a raise in front from Big John ($18,550) in the +3, Jboogs ($27,700) could have got himself into a whole world of hurt when he just flatted the $200 raise with his pocket Aces AAce of SpadesAAce of Hearts. This caused a pile up of players including Francisco ($57,800) 99 of Diamonds66 of Clubs calling to see the flop, creating a pot of $1,275.

“Francisco had other Ideas”

The flop came down 33 of Spades99 of HeartsKKing of Spades giving both Francisco and Dylan a pair of nines, surprisingly nobody had a king in hand. The action was checked around to Jboogs who was second to last to act out of the seven players. He came out firing with a large bet of $1,000. Rather then call and peel a card Francisco had other ideas, $4,000 was the amount he raised it up to. This was enough to get the rest of the table to fold and the action was now back on Jeremy who made the call. Going to the turn the pot now stood at $9,275.

On the turn was the 22 of Hearts putting out another potential flush draw out there. This time first to act Francisco led out with a large bet of $9,000. After some consideration Jboogs made the call and the pot now stood at a mouth watering $27,275.

On the river was a third spade when the 44 of Spades was revealed, knowing his pair of nines were most likely no good Francisco bet out putting his opponent all in for $14,525.. Jeremy made it clear he did not like the Spade on the river. However he held the Ace of spades in his hand, so that reduced his opponent’s possible combinations drastically. Although he could realistically only beat a bluff (he was blocking Ace-King pretty heavily) Jboogs made the correct call and what a call it was to scoop the $59,275 pot.
