Four-Of-A-Kind Magic
During a recent $100/$200 game on Poker At The Lodge, we saw some four of a kind magic!
In hand 130, Jordi, at Big Blind, with $84,300 looked down to pocket sevens and raised to $4,000. This triggered folds from everyone except Handz in a middle position who had Queens and $281,700 in his stack and placed a 3-bet of $13,000. Jordi called the $9000 and they saw the flop with a $17,700 pot.
Jordi flopped gold with 7♣️7♥️10♣️ and made quads. She slow-played with a check over to Handz with an over pair who bet $6,000 which Jordi then called. The turn came down J♥️ to which Jordi once again just checked while Handz put another $25,000 into the pot. This is when Jordi decided to hit the gas and went all-in at $65,500. After tanking for a short while, Handz called the remaining $40,500 and they went into the river with a pot $169,700.

The river paired the board for a second time with J♦️but sadly, for Handz, didn’t do anything for him and Jordi scooped the massive pot!
