Poker At The Lodge Live Stream Relaunch: Day 1

Poker At The Lodge Live Stream Relaunch: Day 1: The first day of the relaunch of Poker At The Lodge Live Stream was exciting and long-awaited by fans. Of course, the hosts have to be part of the action in the first few games and thus this 50/100 cash game at The Lodge featured hosts Doug Polk, Brad Owen, and Andrew Neeme, amongst some other high-stakes players, with the action analyzed by Slick Rick, SkullMike, and special guest Papi AKA Joe Ingram.

Just before the game started, with some freshly popped champagne, Doug dedicated a toast to all the hard work that went into the transformation of the Texas card house as well as expressed his excitement to finally be there.

After the 1st hand there were some technical difficulties with the stream so for some kill time, Joe Ingram had a quick catch-up with Doug in a fire-side chat. Doug spoke about the intense efforts that went into creating the perfect set for poker, from the permits to the construction, no expenses or efforts were spared in the process of transforming The Lodge into the pinnacle of Texas poker. On a side note, Doug also spoke about his newborn baby and coming to the realization that “there’s a human at home who needs me to survive”.

Poker At The Lodge Live Stream Relaunch: Day 1 Highlights:

In hand 58 came the first six-figure pot when Andrew Neeme, with only around $20,000 in his stack, opened raised to $1,000 with pocket tens to which Barry Woods called with 5♦️ 4♥️. After three further calls around the table and a shot of tequila, the flop came down 7♣️ 5♥️ 5♣️.

Freddy had the potential nut flush draw with A♣️ 3♣️ in hand, although only checking over to Brad Owen who then checks over to Andrew Neeme, who then raised $2,300 in the hijacker position. Barry Woods called and sent it back around to Freddy, who called, followed by a fold from Brad Owen and a call from Doug Polk. The turn came down a 7♠️, making a boat for Barry. After checks all around the table, the river came down 10♠️, creating the bigger boat for Neeme. Barry checked and Doug raised $15,000 on the bluff. Andrew went all in at $18,475 followed by another monstrous all-in of $58,300 from Barry. Doug and Freddy folded and Andrew tripled his stack.

In hand 100 we saw some good action between Kuz and Flintstone. Pre-flop, yet to fold, Freddy 3-bet $5000 with A♠️ 5♦️ and a stack of $68,725, which both Kuz (with $83,075) and Flintstone called. making a pre-flop pot of $15,700.

The flop came down Q♣️ 6♥️ 7♥️. Kuz and Freddy both called followed by Flintstone, with top pair and top kicker, who bet $19,000 to which Kuz responded to with an all-in raise, followed by a fold from Freddy and a call from Flintstone, bringing the pot up to $124,500. The turn and river bricked out both times after running it twice and Flintstone won the money.

Conclusion:

Flinstone came out the biggest winner of the day followed by Andrew Neeme and Kuz as well as the bottle of Don Julio 1942.

We’re looking forward to the upcoming high-stakes action at The Lodge over the next 9 days. Don’t miss the $200/$400 game later today @ 3pm CT!
