Congratulation’s to Twitch streamer and YouTube Vlogger Eric “Slick Ric” Chang on winning his first WSOPC event for $37,687 and claiming a prestigious ring in the process.
Slick Ric is a new up and coming Vlogger who published the journey of his impressive win on to his YouTube Channel.
1,186 total entrant’s took part in Event #5 the $250 No-Limit hold’em known as “the Gargantuan” meaning gigantic. That’s exactly what the prizepool was, as it stood at a colossal $237,200. With the winner taking down $37,687. Eric Chang not only had to battle 1,185 other entrants, he also faced a formidable opponent heads up, who was none other then his roommate Gil Destjeor.
Eric was in a state of shock when interviewed after his maiden WSOPC ring Win. “I don’t think it can ever feel real,” Chang said with a grin from ear to ear. “This is actually my first time ever traveling for a series. The ring was always the goal, and having the chance to even just sit at the final table and win one just doesn’t feel real, even though I have it on my finger right now.”
Slick Ric took to his X account (formerly known as Twitter) to congratulate his poker Coach Jonathan Little, who had won a trophy off his own the StormX Invitational III in partnership with PokerGO.
Eric’s recorded Live results began This year (2023) in the World Series of Poker Circuit – WSOPC Tulsa: where he finished in 35th place in the $400 No Limit Hold’em (Ring Event 3). Since then according to his Hendon Mob Profile he has gone on to earn a total of $125,887. Just over a week late Slick Ric almost won another Coveted Ring when he finished in 3rd place in the World Series of Poker Circuit – WSOPC Dallas/Oklahoma: $ 198 + 52 No Limit Hold’em (Ring Event #14).
