Here we will be looking at a hand from the Day 1 of The Million Dollar buy-in game with blinds of $500/$1000 on Hustler Casino Live between Charles and Tony G.
After UTG limped into the pot, the +1 decided to open raise to $7k. The +2 called while the High-Jack, cut-off and button all folded. When the action arrived back at Tony G in Small Blind with $987k in his stack and a pair of Queens, he made a 3-bet of $22k. Charles in Big Blind with K♦️J♦️ and $819k in his stack called it back. UTG, +1, and +2 folded, leaving it heads-up to the flop between Tony G and Charles.
The board flopped 5♦️8♦️6♣️, putting Charles on a flush draw however Tony G was still in front with his overpair. Tony just checked and Charles made a $25k bet, which Tony called and they took a turn with the pot at $111k.
The 4♠️ came on the turn, a dead draw for Charles although he still decided to make another bet of $30k after Tony once again just checked the action to him. Tony called the $30k and it was time for the river.
A 5th diamond came on the river, giving Charles the flush he’d been looking for. Tony, with his rivered set of Queens, was in the perfect position for Charles to extract maximum value. After Tony snap-called a $125k bet from Charles, they went to showdown with a monstrous pot of $421k!
