Poker Pro Ali Imsirovic Admits to Multi-Accounting, but Dispels Cheating Allegations

Poker was recently rocked by suggestions of Poker pro Martin Kabrhel cheating at the WSOP. Only a few weeks later Ali Imsirovic drops a bombshell that he was multi accounting back in 2020.

Accused poker player Ali Imsirovic recently released a half hour video on YouTube. To address the allegations against him. He aimed to “set the record straight” by admitting to some accusations while denying others.

Right at the start of the video, the American-Bosnian stated that he made a serious mistake in 2020 by engaging in multi-accounting during online poker tournaments.

According to Imsirovic, he engaged in multi-accounting for a brief period of around four to five months. Despite his extensive live tournament earnings of over $18.6 million, as reported by Hendon Mob, he has been absent from the high roller poker scene since the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP). In contrast, Schindler has continued to participate in multiple events this summer.

Imsirovic and Jake Schindler were accused by fellow high-stakes players in 2022 of multi-accounting online and colluding during live events. As a consequence, they were subsequently banned from participating in PokerGO Tour events.

Until the release of the video, both Imsirovic and Schindler had refrained from making public statements regarding the cheating allegations. While Imsirovic admitted to his wrongdoing, Schindler has not yet addressed the accusations.

In the video, Imsirovic vehemently denied many of the allegations against him, particularly the claim that he was involved in an online poker cheating scheme. He dismissed this accusation as “completely fucking ridiculous.”

Furthermore, Imsirovic clarified that he no longer has any online poker horses and that the multi-accounting and ghosting incidents occurred only during a short period of time amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Towards the end of the video, Ali called out those who accuse him of cheating. Suggesting that some of them may have engaged in similar actions themselves. He emphasized the toll these allegations have taken on his family and expressed his desire to move past this difficult period.
