In hand 224 of a 12-hour streamed 50/100 cash game on Poker At The Lodge during the relaunch series on February 22nd, 2023, Dylan DeStefano and EZ battled their wits for one of the biggest pots in The Lodge Live Stream history.
Coming into the hand, Dylan’s stack was at $155,550, and EZ’s at $128,550. In the pre-flop action, DeStefano got dealt a pair of 10’s, EZ a pair of 7’s, and Brad Owen A 5 suited. DeStefano immediately raised $500 with calls from EZ and Brad Owen, making a total pre-flop pot of $4,550.
4♣️10♣️ 7♦️ came out on the flop, giving DeStefano and EZ trips as well as a potential flush draw with two clubs on the table, the commentators were mind blown and predicted from the get-go that it would be a $200,000+ pot. All three players call and the turn bricks, followed by EZ raising $3,000 and a further raise of $14,000 from DeStefano. EZ calls and Brad Owen folds. The river comes out a 10♦️ giving EZ a full house and quads for DeStefano. With the pressure rising and both players imagining they’d have the hand to win, Dylan raises $96,000, followed by a head scratch from EZ and the utterance ‘I wanted you to do that but that’s a lot” and then a call.
